These innovative tools effectively obscure carpet seams—even poorly cut ones—with significantly less effort and time than other methods. The Carpet Tractors achieve top performance through their patented three-row offset roller action. The 1-1/4″ diameter rollers are arranged in staggered 3″ wide rows, creating a twirling motion that blends the nap to seamlessly hide seams.

Compatible with all seaming and bonding techniques, Carpet Tractors are especially ideal for hot melt seaming. They ensure an even bond between the adhesive and carpet backing, resulting in a flat, secure seam. Their use helps seams cool quickly, avoiding discoloration issues often caused by following a seam with a tool tray.

The three-row offset roller design makes these tools more effective than single-row rollers. Carpet Tractors blend hot yarns, which have “memory loss,” creating smooth, flat seams. Unlike single-row rollers, their ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue, and their flat top shape even allows for standing use with extra pressure. Built to last, their all-metal construction can be heated with a torch for easy cleaning over scrap carpet. The powder-coated body and zinc-plated components provide rust resistance, making them perfect for wet cleaning jobs where seam shrinkage has occurred.
