At ShagTools, we are dedicated to providing efficient and reliable shipping options to meet the needs of our customers. Whether you’re placing a standard order or need expedited delivery, we offer flexible shipping methods to ensure your purchase arrives as quickly and securely as possible. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We offer a variety of shipping options for customers within the United States, so you can choose the delivery method that works best for you:

- Ground Shipping: All orders with Ground shipping will ship within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
- Expedited Shipping: Orders with 2-Day or Overnight shipping will be processed and shipped the same day if placed before 2:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
- Exclusions: We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.
- Signature Requirement: For certain orders, we reserve the right to require a signature and/or upgrade the shipping method based on the order total or product types.
Free Shipping on Qualifying Orders
We offer FREE Ground Shipping on orders over $75 within the contiguous United States. Please note the following:
- Eligibility: Not all products are eligible for free shipping due to size or weight limitations. Common items that may not qualify include grout, mortar, floor patch, transitions, and oversized products. These exceptions will be clearly noted on the product detail page and during checkout.
- Mixed Orders: If your order contains both qualifying and non-qualifying items, shipping charges will only apply to the non-eligible items, while qualifying items will ship for free.
For orders under $75, shipping charges will be calculated based on the weight and destination of the items.
Expedited Shipping Options
At checkout, you can select 2-Day or Overnight shipping for faster delivery. Please note:
- Same-Day Shipping: To ensure same-day processing for expedited orders, your order must be received by 2:00 PM CST. Orders placed after this time will ship the next business day.
- Business Days: Transit times for expedited shipping are calculated in business days and exclude weekends and holidays.
- Same-Day Shipment After 2 PM CST: If you need to request same-day shipment after 2:00 PM CST, please contact us at (833) 464-7424 or contact@shagtools.com to discuss available options.
Freight/LTL Shipments
For large, heavy, or oversized items, ShagTools uses LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight services. These shipments are required for products that exceed the limitations of standard shipping methods.
- Delivery Locations: Freight deliveries require a commercially zoned address with truck access, and a forklift or loading dock on-site. Liftgate service and residential delivery are available for an additional fee.
- Exclusions: Truck delivery is unavailable to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and islands within the contiguous United States. Freight orders to these areas do not qualify for free shipping.
Delivery Requirements
To ensure smooth delivery, the following conditions must be met:
- A commercially zoned address with tractor-trailer access.
- A forklift or loading dock on-site for unloading (Liftgate service available at an additional cost).
- Accurate contact information for the recipient.
- Signature release after inspecting the shipment for any damage.
Inspection and Acceptance
When your freight shipment arrives, please inspect the products immediately for any visible damage or discrepancies. If you notice any issues, please report them to us within 24 hours of delivery to expedite the claims process.

- Inspect the product for damage.
- Make a note of any irregularities. Severely damaged items should be refused upon delivery.
- If you wish to schedule a specific delivery time, appointments are available upon request.
- Ensure all contents are present and undamaged.
Inaccurate Delivery Information
Please provide accurate and complete delivery details. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays and additional fees.
Terminal Pickup Option
If you prefer, you can opt for terminal pickup, where your shipment is delivered to a freight facility and held for up to 3 business days.
- Proper identification is required for pickup.
- Failure to pick up within 3 business days may result in additional shipping and storage fees.
Return Shipments & Refusal
Once dispatched, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including storage or reconsignment fees. These costs will be deducted from any refund if a return is initiated.
Refusing delivery is not recommended unless the item is severely damaged. If you refuse delivery for any other reason (e.g., changing your mind or not being available), you will be responsible for return shipping fees, as well as any redelivery charges. Inspect your shipment carefully before refusing delivery to avoid these additional costs.
